About The Position
Altom Transport is seeking an HM183 Cargo Tank Inspector for a first-shift position. This role also includes responsibilities as a lead trailer mechanic. The position will operate out of a full-service maintenance facility designed to work on Altom Transport's private fleet. The job posting mentions both a Chicago terminal and an Indianapolis terminal for this position.
Requirements
- Verifiable mechanical experience
- Own hand tools
- General maintenance and repair experience
- Liquid tanker experience
- HM183 experience
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Background Check
- Be a self-starter and work as a team member under the direction of management
- Ability to prioritize work and follow through with repairs
- Be creative, dedicated, and take responsibility for repair work
