A Cargo Logistics Agent (CLA) at Pegasus Aviation Services performs a variety of warehousing duties, requiring an understanding of the establishment’s bonding and storage plan. This role involves verifying materials against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations, and storing, stacking, or palletizing materials according to methods. The CLA is also responsible for rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining them for deterioration and damage, and removing materials from storage for shipment. This position may involve operating forklifts, hand, or power trucks. Additionally, the CLA is required to transport freight and mail to and from aircraft, the post office, and the warehouse facility, including daily loading and unloading of cargo. This is a support services position with an established work routine, following a set of procedures, and generally functions under the supervisory direction or guidance of the Director, Passenger and Cargo Services.
