About The Position

As a member of the Menzies Aviation Cargo Warehouse Handling team, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, building up Pallets, braking down, and distributing freight while practicing all Company’s Safety Policy inclusive of, but not limited to: wearing PPE, equipment operation, safe lifting procedures, or obeying speed limits when driving company vehicles and equipment.

Rate of Pay: $18
Shift : 12:00 - 2030 MON - TUE off

Requirements

• Ability to Pass FBI background and obtain US Customs Seal.
• Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English and perform basic math calculations.
• Must have current driver’s license with no violations over the past 5 years.
• Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds on a continuous basis.
• All hires are required to undergo and pass security clearances (10-year criminal background check), 5 years employment and educational verification, drug screen and physical test.

Responsibilities

• Reads air waybill, bills of landing, or freight manifest to determine the items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
• Conveys freight from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas with forklift or transporter
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to other locations
• Opens bales, crates, and other containers for break down. Records count of items received or distributed
• Weighs and counts items for distribution within warehouse to ensure conformance to company standards and air waybill
• Performs cargo build-up and/or breakdowns, freight to and/or from skid, pallets or ULDs
