About The Position

The Cargo Dispatcher coordinates, tracks, and dispatches cargo shipments to support the safe, timely, and efficient movement of freight through airport cargo facilities. The role serves as a communication hub among warehouse personnel, airline partners, trucking companies, customers, and operational teams, supporting on-time cargo processing and delivery while maintaining compliance with company, airline, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and data entry.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of experience in logistics, cargo, warehouse, transportation, or airline operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily cargo dispatch activities and shipment movement.
• Monitor cargo status and communicate updates, delays, and exceptions.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documentation and operational records.
• Work with warehouse teams, airline partners, and trucking vendors.
• Ensure compliance with company, airline, TSA, and airport regulations.
• Provide customer service and support issue resolution.
