About The Position

Air Charter Service (ACS) Houston is seeking an entry-level Cargo Charter Sales Consultant with proven experience in customer service, building client relationships, and a willingness to go the extra mile. This role is part of the Cargo Charter services team, which handles humanitarian relief, dangerous goods, animal transportation, and pharmaceutical transport. The team manages the full sales cycle, focusing on high-quality customer service and quick response times for chartering requests. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, committed, patient, and interested in sales and achieving targets.

Responsibilities

  • Building a list of potential customers through research of databases, websites, LinkedIn, and trade press.
  • Proactively targeting potential customers through outbound sales calls, emails, and visits (face-to-face and virtual).
  • Converting potential customers into ACS customers.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with Cargo Operators to ensure access to a wide range of aircraft.
  • Maintaining customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
  • Working towards sales targets and meeting financial objectives.
  • Demonstrating expert understanding of aircraft and the chartering process.
  • Managing charter bookings from inquiry to completion.
  • Receiving inbound requests for urgent charters virtually 24/7.
  • Presenting bespoke quotes to customers and demonstrating good commercial acumen.
  • Flight watching/overseeing flight departures, which may involve unsociable hours.
