About The Position

Enlist as a Soldier into the United States Army and become a Cargo Specialist (88H), you'll be the cargo handling expert for everything the Army moves by land, sea, or air. You’ll ensure the Army receives supplies, weapons, the mail, and equipment on a daily basis all over the world. You will be trained in cargo documentation, the securing of cargo, and learn how to load and unload cargo manually or by operating material handling equipment like cranes and forklifts.

High School Diploma or GED
Meet Tattoo Guidelines
No Major Law Violations
No Medical Concerns
88 ASVAB Score: General Maintenance (GM)

Responsibilities

Cargo handling expert for land, sea, or air movements.
Ensure timely receipt of supplies, weapons, mail, and equipment.
Cargo documentation.
Securing of cargo.
Loading and unloading cargo manually or by operating material handling equipment like cranes and forklifts.
