This role involves notifying consignees about arrival dates, customs requirements, and tonnage shipments. The agent will also handle cash transactions, collect payments, and authorize cargo releases. Additionally, they will prepare invoices, work with government agencies for import clearance, and meet flights to exchange documents. Recognizing dangerous goods upon receipt is also a key responsibility. Other duties may be assigned.
