About The Position
Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc. provides training, employment, and support services to individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment. This role is for a Caretaker on the 1st shift, working at the I-70 West bound ODOT Rest Area in Hebron/Buckeye Lake.
Requirements
- You must be at least 21 years old
- Must be willing to perform outdoor tasks, mowing, trimming, power equipment
- Lift up to 35 lbs
- Work unsupervised for long periods
- Must be able to use outdoor power equipment after training
- Bending, walking, squatting, stooping
- Stand for 2 hours with break
- Communicate well with the public
- Customer service skills
Responsibilities
- Cleaning restrooms
- Taking out the trash
- Sanitizing
- Sweeping
- Vacuuming
- Mopping
- Dusting
- Outside – mowing, weeding, mulching, planting, and trimming trees, picking up litter and debris in the parking lot, emptying grills.
- Snow removal during the winter season.
- All other duties as assigned
