CARETAKER P (HA)
About The Position
The Caretaker P mixes plastering materials and applies them to interior and exterior surfaces using tools such as a hawk, trowel, Darby, and slicker. The work includes forming dots and screeds, applying scratch, brown, and finish plaster coats, and preparing lathing and plastering bases such as channel iron and wire lath. The role also performs dust control and cleanup. Caretaker Ps are encouraged to gain the knowledge needed for career advancement to Plasterer. Travel to developments within the assigned neighborhood is required. This position covers Brooklyn Neighborhood 03, including Breukelen, Cypress Hills, Pink, and Vandalia. The posting is for two positions.
