About The Position
This position is for a Caretaker P within the NYC Housing Authority. The role involves mixing and applying plastering materials to interior and exterior surfaces, performing lathing and plastering of bases, and managing dust control and cleanup. Appointed Caretaker Ps are encouraged to gain the knowledge required for career advancement to Plasterer. This position will cover Manhattan Neighborhood 08, which includes Grant, Kings Tower, and St. Nicholas. Travel to developments within the assigned neighborhood is a requirement, with frequency determined by the Neighborhood Administrator.

Responsibilities
- Mix plastering materials properly.
- Apply plastering materials to interior and exterior surfaces (use of hawk, trowel, Darby, slicker; working of dots and screeds); apply plaster coats (scratch, brown and finish).
- Lathing and plastering bases (channel iron, wire lath, etc.).
- Perform dust control and clean up.
