About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide in-home care for seniors. The role involves helping clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life by assisting with personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, and following individualized care plans. Caregivers will serve clients throughout the Northwest Suburbs, including Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Palatine, Rolling Meadows, Elk Grove Village, Des Plaines, and Park Ridge. Travel within the service area is required based on client needs and scheduling.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience (home care, CNA, or facility setting preferred)
• Reliable transportation, valid Driver’s License, and current auto insurance
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
• Ability to safely lift up to 35 pounds and complete light physical tasks
• Strong communication and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
• Support mobility, safety, and daily routines
• Follow individualized care plans and accurately document care provided
• Maintain clear communication with clients, families, and office staff
