About The Position

Right at Home Birmingham is hiring caregivers to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. Caregivers help clients with activities of daily living, personal care, and companionship. The employer states that it provides personal protective equipment and offers training and development. Requirements

Ability to lift or move 50 pounds without assistance.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
Pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

Some caregiving experience preferred.
High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
CNA license, Home Health Aide certification, or Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with mobility.
Perform housekeeping tasks.
Prepare meals.
Accompany clients on errands or appointments.
Assist with personal hygiene.
Provide medication reminders.
Assist with prescribed range-of-motion exercises.
Provide dementia care.
Provide companionship.
