Requirements

Proven experience working with children across various settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting or nannying roles.
Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is highly valued.
Ability to plan age-appropriate activities for infants through elementary school-age children that foster learning and fun.
Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration.
Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare.
Passion for caregiving with a positive attitude, patience, flexibility, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred.
Ongoing training is highly valued.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive supervision and care for children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children.
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote childhood development, early learning, social skills, and behavioral management.
Ensure safety by adhering to mandated reporting laws, maintaining child supervision at all times, and executing first aid or CPR procedures when necessary.
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily activities to foster trust and transparency.
Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing personalized assistance to promote inclusion.
Maintain a clean, organized environment that supports developmental activities and adheres to health and safety standards.
Document daily observations, activity outcomes, and any incidents accurately in compliance with organizational policies.
