About The Position
CAREGIVERPART-TIME PORTLAND, TN CARTHAGE, TN Job Summary: Village Caregiving, a reputable in-home care company located in Hartsville, Tennessee, is seeking a CAREGIVER to join our team. As a CAREGIVER, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care in the patient's home , ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for the patient. This is an individual contributor role that requires a compassionate, responsible, and dedicated individual. CAREGIVER Benefits: DAY & AFTERNOON SHIFTS AVAILABLE!!! MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS AS NEEDED!! Pay Rate: $16-17/Hour Paid Training, including CPR Certification Ongoing Training Provided As Needed 401K with Company Match Benefits Available For Full-Time Employees
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in-home care experience
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
- Must pass a background check
- Must have YOUR OWN vehicle & VALID driver's license
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Help residents with mobility by transferring and positioning them safely
- Record and maintain accurate documentation of residents' care and daily activities
- Assist with feeding residents and providing hydration
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare team members
