About The Position

Always Best Care Chicagoland is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care that helps seniors remain safe and independent in their homes. The role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients’ lives. The agency provides training and supports caregivers with respect and care. This position is based in Tinley Park, Illinois, and is performed in person.

Requirements

• At least one year of caregiving or home care experience.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking, with attention to dietary constraints.
• Respectful and compassionate demeanor with good bedside manner.
• Outstanding communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work in the USA.
• Must be very reliable.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility at home and outside, including during appointments and walks.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
• Shop for clients or accompany them while shopping as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks clients cannot complete themselves, including meal preparation.
• Report unusual incidents to the Care Coordinator.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Follow the care plan.
