About The Position
Caregivers are essential service providers who support and assist their clients with daily living activities. Our main goal as an agency is to keep them independent, at home, and out of the high-risk nursing facilities. This position is not a PRN role, part time or full time only. Work every weekend or every-other weekend...We have opportunities that can fit your situation!
Requirements
- A minimum of 1-year experience caring for a senior or adult.
- Warmth and compassion for people under your care.
- Ability to competently communicate and perform assigned tasks.
- Completion of a criminal background check, BMV check, TB test, and drug screen.
- Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Annual training requirement and active CPR/First Aid certificate required for all employees.
Nice To Haves
- No certification required; however, we commensurate pay for licensed CNA, HHA, and DSP certifications and experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship, including conversation, activities, light housekeeping, running errands, and transporting/accompanying clients to appointments.
- Assist with medication reminders.
- Provide personal care assistance, which may include preparing meals, bathing, feeding, toileting, transferring, encouraging exercises, and grooming.
- Perform charting and reporting, communicating concerns and changes in condition to the office and care team members.
