About The Position
Assisting Hands Deerfield is seeking compassionate caregivers to help nice people with companionship, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders. We offer competitive pay, flexible shifts, and a supportive team environment.
Requirements
- 2 years+ of caregiving experience
- Reliable transportation
- Comfortable helping BOTH male and female clients
- Experience helping with personal care
- No Restrictions concerning type of care
Responsibilities
- Companionship Care: conversation, board games
- Personal care: toileting, dressing, showering and grooming
- Light housekeeping- dusting, sweeping. mopping etc.
- Meal preparation- fixing breakfast, lunch and dinner
- Medication Reminders- Meds in pillbox to be given as reminders throughout the shift.
Benefits
- Starting Pay: $18 to $22hr
- Shifts available: Weekdays, Weekends, Mornings and Daytime shifts.
- Hours over 40 and hours on holidays are paid time and a half
