About The Position
AbaCares Services is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide high-quality care to individuals in need. This position offers a competitive rate and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others. The schedule is Tuesday–Friday, 6/7 hours a day, during the day shift. The ideal candidate is English-speaking, reliable, professional, and not afraid of dogs. The scope of work includes light housekeeping, minor bathing and dressing assistance, sometimes meal prep, mobility assistance, and help with getting in and out of a wheelchair.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Caregiver, Personal Care Assistant, or similar role.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check.
- Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail and follow care plans accurately.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a friendly and compassionate demeanor.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physical ability to perform the position's duties, including lifting and transferring clients as needed.
- A commitment to providing high-quality, empathetic care to individuals in need.
