About The Position

HomeWell Care Services is seeking compassionate Caregivers to enhance seniors' lives by providing non-medical services that allow them to age in place in their own homes. This role involves one-on-one client interaction, fostering relationships, and providing essential support. We are looking for individuals who value dignity, compassion, and respect in their work.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including lifting and transferring up to 50 pounds
• Must have an active CPR Certification or be willing to get certified
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with valid insurance
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Must be mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
• Must have an active State of Florida Level 2 Background Check or pass one

Nice To Haves

• CNA or HHA license
• 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons

Responsibilities

• Perform activities of daily living and provide companionship for clients in their homes
• Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Plan and prepare meals
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Provide ambulation and transferring assistance as needed
• Assist with medication as required
• Provide transportation for appointments and errands
