About The Position

We are looking for compassionate individuals to join our team as Caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in need. Senior Helpers of Riverside's culture is based on strong core values, recognition of achievements, and respect. We are hiring Caregivers for positions for Medicare patients in Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, and Chino.

Requirements

• CA registration as home care aide- we can help you with this process if you do not have an active registration number.
• Cooking skills for meal preparation
• Previous experience in home care is beneficial- proficiency in direct support services

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in care giving or a related field preferred
• Knowledge of resident rights and principles of patient care
• Ability to lift and transfer individuals using proper body mechanics
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Familiarity with medication administration systems is a plus

Responsibilities

• Promote resident rights and maintain a safe and comfortable environment
• Assist clients with activities of daily living
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Administer medication reminders
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Help clients with mobility and transportation needs
