About The Position
Visiting Angels of the Cambridge and surrounding areas is hiring non-medical caregivers to provide one-on-one support to seniors in their homes. Caregivers help clients meet the challenges of aging with compassion, dignity, and care. No nursing duties are involved. Pay starts at $15.00–$18.00 per hour. Previous experience is helpful, but a caring attitude is also valued. The position is advertised as starting ASAP.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug screening.
- Patient, trustworthy, caring, and reliable; enjoys helping others.
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Spend time with clients and provide companionship.
- Prepare simple meals.
- Perform light cleaning and laundry.
- Help with errands and shopping.
- Support clients with everyday routines.
