About The Position

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is looking for a compassionate, dependable Part-Time Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care for a client in Everett, WA. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others and takes pride in supporting a client's comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Requirements

• Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association preferred/required as applicable
• Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable
• Able to work independently and follow a care plan
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with meal preparation and basic housekeeping
• Physically able to perform caregiving duties
• Successful completion of a background check and reference verification
• Must be available for afternoon shifts

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, hygiene, dressing, bathing, and mobility
• Assist with ambulation and safe movement inside and outside the home
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements
• Provide medication reminders as directed
• Assist with prescribed exercises and activities
• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement
• Perform light housekeeping
• Assist with shopping or errands when needed
• Monitor and communicate changes in the client's condition or behavior
• Communicate with the client, family, nurses, and care team
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
