About The Position
Visiting Angels of Jenkintown, Philadelphia & Horsham is seeking experienced and compassionate caregivers to join their growing team. They are committed to providing exceptional in-home care to seniors, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent. The company has been recognized as a Best of Home Care – Provider of Choice since 2010. Immediate openings are available in Horsham and surrounding areas.
Requirements
- CNA, HHA, DC certification, or equivalent caregiving experience
- Minimum of 2 years of professional caregiving experience
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance required
- Comfortable assisting with errands (clients are NEVER transported in caregiver vehicles)
- Current TB Test (2-Step PPD, Chest X-Ray, or Quantiferon Blood Test)
- Ability to pass background screening and drug test
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- All applicants must be able to provide proof of vaccination
Nice To Haves
- Dementia care experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with personal care, meal preparation, errands, hygiene, mobility assistance, and medication reminders
- Support client safety, comfort, and daily well-being
- Communicate professionally with families and office staff
