About The Position

At Home Instead, our caregivers help seniors remain safe, independent, and comfortable in the place they love most—their own home. Whether you’re experienced or brand new to caregiving, we provide the training, support, and encouragement you need to succeed. As a Home Instead Care Professional, you’ll build relationships and provide compassionate care that helps seniors maintain dignity and independence.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen
• Dependable, compassionate, and committed to helping others

Responsibilities

• Companionship and conversation
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Medication reminders
• Transportation and errands
• Personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
