About The Position

AbriCare is seeking caregivers in the St. Joseph, Missouri area and surrounding communities to provide personal care and individualized support to seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. The role helps clients maintain independence and quality of life. AbriCare describes its approach as mission-driven, person-centered care supported by AI-enabled operations, and offers flexible scheduling and competitive hourly wages. The position is part-time, with a pay range of $16.00–$17.00+ per hour.

Requirements

• Be compassionate and reliable.

• Have a working smartphone for time and attendance usage.

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
• Advanced Personal Care (APC) and/or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is a plus; caregivers with these qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Complete shopping and errands; clients are not transported.
