About The Position
Caregivers at Sevita help people grow, learn, and live well while building meaningful relationships with the individuals they serve. They support participants in becoming part of their communities and enjoying favorite activities, and assist with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. The role includes helping with personal hygiene and supporting individuals who may have behavioral challenges or other complex needs. Sevita describes the work as an opportunity to take initiative and make a difference, with support from supervisors and access to tools and training for career development.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
- Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible.
- Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
