About The Position

Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate, experienced, and reliable caregivers, specifically CNAs and HCAs, to join our team. We are hiring for a caregiver position to serve a client in Nordland, WA. This role involves providing comprehensive care, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), and adhering to client care plans. We are committed to improving the lives of the clients we serve and maintaining high standards of care.

Requirements

• Active State License: CNA or HCA required.
• Caregiver with at least one (1) year of caregiver experience, highly preferred.
• Ability to lift, move or assist patients using proper body mechanics.
• Must have valid Driver's License, proof of current auto insurance.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a criminal background and fingerprint check, as required per Washington state law.
• Ability to communicate effectively with seniors.
• Must be reliable and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) including bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, incontinence, and feeding.
• Assisting with IADL's (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living) including shopping, housekeeping, medication management, and meal preparation.
• Following each client's Care Plan.
