About The Position

River Oaks Homecare, a leader in the industry for 10 years and a recipient of the "Great Place to Work" and "Philadelphia 100" awards, is expanding and seeking dedicated Caregivers for its brand-new residential home in Phoenixville, PA. This role offers a stable, consistent schedule with 12-hour daily shifts (3-4 days a week) in a beautiful residential setting, providing personalized support to residents.

Requirements

Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the US.

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiving, CNA, or HHA residential experience is a plus.
Basic cooking and housekeeping knowledge.
CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
Implement routines that support individuals with unique sensory processing needs, ensuring a calm and structured living space.
Use patient, positive redirection, and communication techniques to support residents through various behavioral challenges and emotional regulation.
Prepare healthy meals and snacks tailored to specific dietary requirements or textures, assisting with feeding as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment to reduce overstimulation and ensure safety.
Foster a supportive atmosphere through engaging activities, errands, and social interaction that honors each resident’s unique personality.
Drive residents in a company-provided vehicle to community events and doctor's appointments.
Provide vital medication reminders and closely monitor health or behavioral changes to ensure the highest quality of care.
