About The Position

Executive Home Care of North County is seeking dedicated caregivers to provide compassionate, reliable, and personalized care to seniors in their homes. Caregivers help clients with everyday needs, offer companionship and support, and observe and report changes in clients’ conditions. The role offers flexible scheduling, with shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours and schedules tailored to caregiver availability. Pay is $19 to $23 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be registered as a California Home Care Aide (HCA).
• Must successfully pass a background check as a condition of employment.
• Be compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to follow individualized care plans and provide person-centered care.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous caregiving experience or related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Remind clients to follow their prescribed medication routines.
• Prepare meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
• Provide conversation and emotional support, and assist with appointments or social activities.
• Observe and report changes in clients’ conditions to appropriate care team members.
• Follow individualized care plans and provide person-centered care.
