About The Position

At Visiting Angels, our mission is to help seniors remain safely in their homes while aging with dignity, care, and compassion. We are currently seeking caring, dependable, and compassionate individuals to join our team as CAREgivers. Every day, the relationships you build and the compassion you provide will make a lasting difference in the lives of our clients. You’ll be supported by a dedicated leadership team while gaining valuable experience and growing your career. Experienced caregivers have the opportunity to participate in our 6-week mentoring program, supporting and guiding new team members. Mentors serve as role models, offering both personal and professional support while helping new hires succeed.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license or state ID
• A compassionate, patient, and caring attitude
• A genuine desire to help seniors age safely at home

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a caregiver
• Dementia care experience
• Palliative care experience

Responsibilities

• Help seniors live fulfilling, independent lives.
• Assist seniors to remain safely in their homes.
• Provide care, compassion, and dignity to clients.
• Build relationships with clients.
• Support and guide new team members as a mentor (for experienced caregivers).
