About The Position
Visiting Angels is seeking caring, dependable, and compassionate individuals to join their team as CAREgivers. The mission of Visiting Angels is to help seniors remain safely in their homes while aging with dignity, care, and compassion. Experienced caregivers can participate in a mentoring program to support and guide new team members.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license or state ID
- A compassionate, patient, and caring attitude
- A genuine desire to help seniors age safely at home
Nice To Haves
- No experience necessary, as comprehensive, paid training is provided through the Caregiver Development Program, including hands-on instruction and ongoing monthly education.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, non-medical in-home care
- Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Support clients with errands, appointments, and medication reminders
- Assist with dementia and Alzheimer’s care
