About The Position
TheKey Home Care is hosting an open house hiring event for compassionate, dedicated in-home Caregivers in the Palo Alto area. This event is a walk-in opportunity where candidates can meet the recruitment team, interview on the spot, and potentially be hired the same day. TheKey is the largest provider of private pay in-home care for aging seniors in North America and is seeking individuals to help change the way the world ages. They offer competitive pay, flexible schedules, and a supportive environment for their caregivers.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience
- At least 18 years of age
- HCA Registration with the State of California (assistance provided upon hire)
- Valid driver’s license, with access to a fully insured personal vehicle
- TB Clearance or Chest X-Ray
- Eligible to work in the US
- Must comply with state background screening requirements
- Must provide timely and accurate positive fingerprint identification

Responsibilities
- Assist clients 1:1 with personal care: dressing, bathing, grooming, and assisting with meals.
- Perform light housekeeping: basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
- Provide transportation: Driving clients to appointments, running errands, and grocery shopping.
- Offer companionship: Engaging in activities like games and puzzles to provide social and emotional support.
