Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
1–2 years of caregiving or CNA experience
Valid CPR Certification from an in-person class
Negative TB Test within the last 12 months
Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
Reliable transportation
AHCA Level 2 Background Clearance
Successful drug and motor vehicle background screenings
Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical duties such as standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and transferring clients
Strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Ability to maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements

Nice To Haves

Experience as a CNA, Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Assistant (PCA), or Caregiver is highly encouraged.

Responsibilities

Assisting clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, mobility, and transfers
Providing companionship and emotional support
Accompanying clients to appointments, grocery stores, pharmacies, and other activities
Assisting with active and passive mobility exercises according to the care plan
Observing clients and reporting changes in their condition to the Director of Nursing
Providing dependable, compassionate care while maintaining client dignity and confidentiality
