About The Position

By providing care to our clients, our caregivers make a direct impact on helping seniors age in the comfort of their own homes. We are currently looking for caregivers to work in West Hartford, Farmington, New Britain and neighboring towns.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn new skills to better the lives of our clients
• Proficient communication skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks as assigned
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reach
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Possess valid auto insurance (if applicable)
• Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly, courteous, compassionate manner

Responsibilities

• Conversation & companionship, help facilitate hobbies such as games/puzzles
• Accompany to appointments, outings & social events
• Stand-by/assist with ambulation
• Planning & meal prep; grocery lists & errands/shopping (as applicable)
• Medication reminders
• Assist with Light house chore
• Support and/or provide hygiene assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, continence care)
