Part Time Caregiver
About The Position
We are seeking a PART-TIME (3rd and 4th Saturday of each month 8am-12:30pm) Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of seniors and people with disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable. Professional caregivers go by many names: homemakers, home care aides, home health aides, certified nursing assistants, personal care assistants, direct care workers. No matter the name, what they all have in common is a calling to care for people in the comfort of their own homes. This agency is independently owned and operated. Your application will go directly to the agency, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this agency. Requirements
- First aid and CPR certified REQUIRED
- Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
- Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
- Compassionate, respectful, ethical
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Light housekeeping activities
- Safely assisting with transfers, including operating a manual (crank) Hoyer lift
- Medication reminders
- Provide companionship
