About The Position
Visiting Angels of the Wheeling and surrounding areas is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical services to seniors in their homes. Caregivers help clients maintain independence, comfort, and quality of life while meeting the challenges of aging with compassion, dignity, and care. Experience is a plus, but a caring attitude and willingness to learn are valued.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug screening.
- Must be caring, patient, dependable, trustworthy, and respectful.
- Must have good communication skills and a passion for helping others.
Nice To Haves
- Prior caregiving experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and conversation.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Prepare meals.
- Shop for groceries and run errands.
- Assist with everyday activities.
- Provide reminders for daily routines.
