Caregiver Needed -Santa Monica (Monday-Sunday: 11am-5pm)
About The Position
24 Hour Home Care is seeking empathetic and attentive caregivers to support children, teenagers, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DDs) in their homes. This role involves providing top-notch care in the comfort of clients' own homes, supporting them with various daily living activities. Requirements
- Provide contact information for two references who can attest to your caregiving experience.
- Ensure your identification documents comply with I-9 requirements.
- Provide proof of a negative TB test. If needed, we cover the cost for eligible candidates.
Nice To Haves
- Demonstrate a reliable means of commuting to work or have plans to relocate before your start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting, transfers)
- Assist with meal preparation
- Offer companionship
- Perform light housekeeping
- Provide medication reminders
- Follow the client care plan and provide updates as needed
- Assist with errands/transportation
