Requirements

At least 6 months of professional caregiving experience required
At least 18 years of age
Basic computer skills
Driver for clients (with vehicle, car insurance and registration)
Caregivers must comply with state background screening requirements and must be eligible to work in the US.

Nice To Haves

Alzheimer's or Dementia experience
Total care, skilled nursing facility, memory care, or rehab experience highly valued
Strong professional communication skills, patience, and adaptability
Empathy, compassion and kindness a MUST
Ability to use sound judgement and remain calm in a variety of situations
Must be reliable, dependable and on time

Responsibilities

Personal care: dressing, bathing, grooming and assisting with meals
Light housekeeping: basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing
Transportation: Driving clients to appointments, running errands, and grocery shopping
Companionship: games, puzzles or other activities that provide social and emotional support
Hoyer lift transfers and full bed-bound care
Bed baths, incontinence care, and mobility support
Light housekeeping and meal preparation
Collaboration with an actively involved family care team
