About The Position
Friends for Life is seeking experienced and compassionate Caregivers to join our CARE TEAM. We are hiring for a client in Denver (80210) who requires 12-HOUR DAY SHIFTS in a memory care facility. The client is a male with Dementia, Parkinson's, and is on hospice care. This role requires strong experience with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), managing behavioral challenges associated with Dementia, and providing care for individuals with Parkinson's. The ideal candidate is dedicated, reliable, and consistent.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience with ADLs (preferably as a CNA or trained Personal Care Provider)
- Strong experience with Dementia, including managing frustrated behavior
- Experience with Parkinson's care
- Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle
- Experience with hands-on Senior Care (i.e. Personal Care, Companion Care)
- Dementia & Alzheimer's Care
- Parkinson's Care
Responsibilities
- Dementia Care, Behavior Support
- Assist with Dressing and grooming (shaving with an electric razor, skin care, oral care, nail care)
- Assistance with ambulation and transfers
- Assistance with toileting
- Assistance for Showering
- Medication Reminders
- Accompaniment for Errands & Outings (Caregiver Drives Client Car)
- Meal Prep
- Light housekeeping & Laundry
- Companionship & Socialization
