Mature Caregiver with Dementia Experience
About The Position
FirstLight® Home Care is seeking reliable and mature female caregivers with experience in caring for dementia/Parkinson patients. The position is located in Evanston and requires availability on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The client emphasizes the importance of local candidates and the non-negotiable nature of the specified days and times. Requirements
- Previous caregiving experience (preferred)
- A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others
- A commitment to being present and providing quality care
- Empathy, patience, kindness and respect
- Ability to carry out direction, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage the demands of the job
- Reliable and mature female caregiver with experience in caring for dementia/Parkinson
- Available Mon/Wed/Fri from 10:00am - 5:00pm
- Local to Evanston
Responsibilities
- Providing companionship and conversation
- Preparing and serving meals
- Help with bathing and grooming
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Shopping, errands, and transportation
- Other duties as assigned
