About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented Caregiver to provide daily support and assistance to residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. The caregiver will assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensure resident safety, promote dignity and independence, and help create a warm and engaging environment for our residents and families.
Requirements
- Previous caregiver experience preferred (Assisted Living, Memory Care, Nursing Home, or Home Care).
- Experience with dementia or Alzheimer’s care preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality required.
- Ability to safely assist residents with transfers and mobility.
- CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Must pass background check and any state-required screenings.

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including: Bathing, Dressing, Grooming, Toileting, Transfers and mobility assistance, Feeding assistance when needed
- Perform scheduled resident rounds and safety checks.
- Assist with incontinent care while maintaining resident dignity and comfort.
- Support residents during meals and encourage hydration.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication regarding resident care.
- Observe and report any physical, emotional, or behavioral changes to management and/or nurse.
- Assist with resident activities and engagement programs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and common areas.
- Follow all infection control, safety, and emergency procedures.
- Work collaboratively with caregivers, med aides, management, hospice, home health, and families.
- Ensure residents are treated with respect, patience, and compassion at all times.
