About The Position

The Palms at Sun City is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated PRN Caregiver to join our team. This is a strictly PRN, as-needed position. PRN Caregivers provide coverage based on community needs, including open shifts, call-outs, and other staffing needs. This role does not have a set or regularly scheduled part-time schedule. Requirements

  • Flexibility and dependability to accept PRN shifts as community needs arise.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to safely lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed.
  • Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Clean motor vehicle record.
  • Must meet all applicable state and community employment requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous caregiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, high-quality care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
  • Respond promptly to resident requests and provide individualized support based on each resident’s needs.
  • Assist residents during meals while following dietary restrictions, food allergies, and personal preferences.
  • Promote residents’ comfort, safety, independence, and overall well-being.
  • Observe and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or cognitive condition.
  • Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
  • Follow all community policies, safety procedures, and applicable state regulations.
  • Safely transport residents to church services, medical appointments, and other approved activities as needed.
  • Provide dependable coverage for open shifts, call-outs, and other community staffing needs.
