We are seeking experienced caregivers in the Irvine area who are confident assisting clients with both Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (iADLs) in a home care setting. We are especially looking for caregivers with flexible schedules who are available to work weekends, as weekend coverage is an important part of our client care needs. Requirements
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
- Physically able to assist with transfers and mobility
- Strong communication and documentation skills (writing and in-app)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Willing to work flexible shifts, including some weekends
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED required
Nice To Haves
- Prior caregiving experience (professional or personal) is a plus but not required
- CNA, HHA, or similar certifications preferred (not required)
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized support to seniors and individuals who need assistance maintaining comfort, safety, and independence at home.
- Bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Dressing and toileting assistance
- Mobility and transfer support
- Feeding assistance when needed
- Incontinence care
- Companionship and emotional support
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- Grocery shopping and errands
- Laundry and linen changes
- Transportation to appointments or activities
- Organizing daily routines and ensuring client safety
- Provide companionship, conversation, activities, and emotional support
- Assist with personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping, errands, and transportation
- Provide medication reminders and maintain daily care documentation
- Support clients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s, and hospice needs
- Safely operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts, gait belts, transfer boards, and wheelchairs
