About The Position
Chanda Care is hiring reliable, compassionate caregivers to help seniors and adults live safely and independently at home. If you're passionate about caring for others, we'd love to meet you. Earn $17.50–$21.00/hour based on experience & certifications. This role offers 25–40 hours per week with morning, afternoon, evening & overnight shifts. Benefits include paid overtime, free training, and career growth opportunities in a supportive, team-focused workplace. Every other weekend availability is required. We are hiring in Agawam, Springfield, West Springfield, Chicopee, Longmeadow, East Longmeadow, Palmer, Westfield, Wilbraham, Ludlow, and Holyoke.
Requirements
- 1+ year of professional caregiving experience OR willingness to complete training
- Availability for at least 25 hours per week
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to travel 5–30 minutes for assignments
- Dependable, respectful, and compassionate
- Comfortable working independently in a client’s home
Responsibilities
- Help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes by assisting with personal care & daily activities
- Assist with mobility and safety
- Assist with meal preparation & light housekeeping
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with errands and grocery shopping
- Provide transportation to appointments
- Offer companionship and social support
