About The Position

We are seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers to join our team in Cumming, GA. This role is crucial in providing essential support and companionship to seniors, enabling them to live comfortably and with dignity in their own homes. We offer both part-time and full-time positions, with a particular need for overnight shifts. Our agency is certified by the National Association for Home Care & Hospice and is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

Must have a clean criminal background check.
Must complete Live Scan / Fingerprinting.
Must possess reliable transportation with insurance.
Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. (e.g., 2 forms of ID like Driver's License or Identification/passport or Permanent Resident ID/Social Security Card).
CPR + First Aid certification required.
TB test or chest X-ray required.

Nice To Haves

Formal training or at least 6 months of experience in the home care field or a related school program is desired.

Responsibilities

Assist with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Provide transportation for basic errands such as pharmacy and grocery shopping.
Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping duties.
Provide medication reminders.
Assist with mobility.
Provide assistance with toileting.
Offer companionship and engage seniors in their interests, such as attending senior centers or church, playing games, reading, watching movies, or taking walks.
Maintain detailed records of services provided and client conditions via an online portal.
Notify the Care Coordinator of any major changes or incidents during the shift.
