About The Position

Essential Care is seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregivers to join our team. We have been serving seniors and families in Las Vegas for over 18 years with a mission to preserve dignity through quality care. We value communication, professionalism, and genuine support for our clients and staff. Our schedulers are available 24/7 to provide support in the field. This position offers flexibility, meaningful one-on-one care, and a team-oriented environment, ideal for caregivers who want to build lasting relationships with clients.

Requirements

Ability to pass a drug screening
Reliable transportation to assigned shifts
PCA Certificate
CPR / First Aid Certification
2-Step TB Test or Chest X-Ray
Physical Examination
Fingerprint Clearance / Background Check
Valid ID / Driver’s License
Social Security Card
Auto Insurance & 3-Year Driving History (for drivers)

Nice To Haves

Professional caregiving experience is strongly preferred
Prior in-home care, senior care, memory care, hospice support, or facility experience

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate in-home care and companionship
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, mobility assistance, and light housekeeping
Help clients maintain independence, dignity, and comfort in their homes
Transport clients to appointments or errands when needed (for approved drivers)
Complete caregiver notes and clock in/out using our caregiver app
Maintain professional communication with families, office staff, and other caregivers
Keep certifications and required documentation current
