About The Position
We are looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers to support a client in their home in Douglasville. In this role, you’ll provide meaningful care, assistance with daily routines, and support with personal or medical needs—always with respect, dignity, and a warm heart. This is a non-judgmental, client-centered role where your presence makes a real difference.
Requirements
- Relevant certifications or training for the role (e.g., CNA, PCA, CPR, First Aid)
- Current TB test
- Compassion, professionalism, and reliability
- Ability to pass a background check
- Dependable transportation
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and support daily routines
- Assist with personal care: bathing/showering (client may sometimes decline), dressing, grooming, skin care, oral care, hair care, and changing adult undergarments
- Assist with mobility and exercises, including leg exercises recommended by physical therapy
- Prepare meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration
- Monitor and respond to client’s medical conditions, reporting any changes to office staff
- Maintain open communication with office staff and follow care plans
