About The Position

Join Our Compassionate Supported Living Team as a Caregiver! Are you a dedicated Caregiver who wants more than just a job? Do you want to make a lasting impact in the lives of individuals who rely on compassionate, long-term support every day? We’re looking for caring, dependable, and motivated Caregivers to join our Supported Living team! At our Supported Living program, we provide a safe, empowering environment for individuals with TBIs who need ongoing assistance with daily living. Our mission is to help every individual live with dignity, independence, and purpose — and our Caregivers are at the heart of that mission.

Requirements

No prior experience necessary. Orientation and training provided
Eighteen years of age or older with valid driver’s license
Effective verbal and written communication
Capable of working responsibly with confidential information
Accountable, reliable, and ability to work independently with good judgement
Successful completion of pre-employment background check
Sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms
Talk and listen
Close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision
Lift and/or move heavy objects up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
Ability to type on a computer keyboard

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with daily living activities and personal care
Help ensure proper nutrition and medication support
Encourage independence and teach important life skills
Support participation in educational, social, vocational, and recreational activities
Build meaningful relationships while making a real difference every day
Meal preparation
Housekeeping
Companionship
Personal hygiene care
Transportation assistance
Other light duties as assigned
