About The Position

The Caregiver role involves assisting clients with various daily living activities. This includes helping with prescribed medication, aiding in ambulation and mobility both inside and outside the home (e.g., doctor's appointments, walks), and assisting with personal care and hygiene. Caregivers also help clients with physical therapy exercises, plan and prepare meals (with client assistance when possible), and perform shopping duties or accompany clients during shopping. Light housekeeping tasks that clients cannot complete on their own are also part of the role. The position requires being a pleasant and supportive companion, reporting any unusual incidents, and acting quickly and responsibly in emergencies. Adherence to health and safety standards is essential.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a caregiver
  • Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
  • Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities
