About The Position

One You Love Home Care is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to older adults and individuals who need assistance remaining safe and comfortable at home. This role is ideal for caregivers looking for meaningful part-time work with flexible scheduling and the opportunity to build trusted relationships with clients and families. Caregivers are an important part of helping clients maintain their independence, dignity, routines, and quality of life at home. We are looking for individuals who take pride in providing thoughtful, reliable care and understand the responsibility that comes with being welcomed into a client’s home.

Requirements

• Current CNA license or Home Health Aide certification
• Level 2 AHCA background screening/fingerprinting
• Current CPR certification
• Alzheimer’s and Dementia training
• HIV/AIDS training
• OSHA/Bloodborne Pathogens training
• Be dependable and punctual
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and office staff
• Have reliable transportation
• Be comfortable working independently in clients’ homes
• Demonstrate patience, compassion, and good judgment
• Be able to follow written care plans and agency policies

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Providing mobility and transfer assistance
• Preparing meals and encouraging proper hydration
• Providing medication reminders
• Completing light housekeeping and laundry
• Assisting with errands and transportation
• Providing companionship and meaningful engagement
• Following each client’s individualized care plan
• Observing and reporting changes or concerns to the office
• Completing required shift documentation accurately
• Maintaining professional boundaries and client confidentiality
